Still Lands True — The Story and Sound
The State Behind the Song
“Still Lands True” is me operating in exact alignment. Everything moves quickly, lands where it belongs and holds its shape without being forced or explained. The song stays inside that state from beginning to end: instinctive, certain and fully online.
The central line, What sits right stays right, carries the entire idea. When something is true to itself, it lands cleanly and continues to hold.
The bridge states the rest plainly:
What’s real doesn’t need a frame
Doesn’t follow what they claim
Don’t slow it down to prove
Just works cause it’s true
Many people accept the false ideas they are fed, repeat them as truth and build their lives around beliefs that keep them small, struggling and under control. I do not slow myself down to follow any of it, argue with it or prove what I already know. What is real works because it is true.
The Sound
“Still Lands True” uses Russian phonk to create a kinetic sound with strong rhythmic movement and magnetic momentum. The production feels alive, playful and slightly unpredictable while keeping the repeated lyrics locked firmly at the center.
Track Four on the Leo Summer Fire EP
“Still Lands True” is the fourth song on the Leo Summer Fire EP. It carries the louder, larger-than-life side of the collection: truth that stays bright, lands hard and keeps its shape without shrinking itself down.
