The Story

“Time of Our Life” comes from a time in life when my daughter and I spent our days and nights together wandering Boulder, Colorado.

During the day, we walked everywhere. Boulder Creek, the foothills, trails, side streets and odd places that were known by very few. We never had much of a plan. We would take a turn, find something new and disappear into our own world for hours.

Then the sun went down and everything shifted to Pearl Street. Shops, concerts, late-night walks around Boulder and whatever happened next.

We were havin' the time of our life.

The Sound

“Time of Our Life” moves on a quick, loose groove with a West Coast alternative reggae edge. The verses push forward with an easy rhythmic flow, while the chorus opens into a bigger hook. Reggae and ska sit underneath the track, keeping the whole thing loose and moving.
