This song didn’t begin as another story from my previous Day of the Dead experiences. It began with what happened after I wrote the others. What I thought was the end of the album became the beginning of one more song. I realized that once I write a song and listen to it repeatedly for a while, the story begins to release from my life. The memory is still there, but the energy surrounding it is different. It no longer feels active or connected to me in the same way. I didn’t think any of these stories were weighing on me. They didn’t feel unfinished, and I wasn’t consciously trying to let them go. I only recognized the weight after it was gone and I felt the unexpected lightness left behind. That became the unexpected gift of writing Follow the Sound . The other songs tell the stories....

The Story Behind the Song

“Chaos to Order” is my natural state in motion.

Order is the way my energy moves. Things make sense to me. I see through the noise, the problem, the confusion and the surface of whatever is happening. The truth is always obvious because I feel the energy behind everything, and energy never lies.

My actions may seem erratic to someone looking from the outside, but nothing is random from where I stand. Every move is a direct response to the energy around me.

That response keeps my life in perfect order at all times.

That is the center of this song. Chaos is movement before the pattern is visible. I feel the pattern in the energy. I see the answer. I see where the pieces go before the outside shape has caught up.

“Chaos to Order” is the scattered becoming structured. The problem becoming simple. The truth becoming visible.

The sound of “Chaos to Order” is dark, minimal and hypnotic.

The track has a low, controlled electronic pulse with sharp movement and a hidden signal running underneath it. The sound is precise and deliberate, built around the feeling of order forming in real time.
